The County of Harmon was created in 1909 from
Greer County which was Originally by Texas and formed in 1886 and Jackson
which was formed out of Greer County in 1907. The County Seat
is Hollis, Oklahoma where many of the TOTTYS and their descendants lived.

1916 July 24 Birth of Della Matilda
BARKER in Hollis, Oklahoma.
Notes: Della Matilda was the daughter of
Steven Alexand Barker and Rebecca Jane TOTTY BARKER. She died in
1998. She married James Doyle KELLAR on December 07, 1935 in Georgetown,
Texas. James was the son of George KELLAR and MIinnie EDWARDS.
1921 December 25 Marriage of Oma
Lai BARKER and Benjamin M. SELPH, Hollis, Oklahoma
Note: Oma Lai was the daughter of Steven
Alexander BARKER and Rebecca Jane TOTTY. She was born September 16,
1901 in Uz, Montague County, Texas, and died October 11, 1972 in McGargle,
Archer County, Texas. Benjamin M. SELPH was the son of James
SELPH and Harriet JACKSON. He is also buried at McGargle, Archer
County, Texas.
1922 November 27 Birth of Billy
Vance SELPH in Hollis, Harmon County, Oklahoma.
Notes: Billy was the son of Oma Lai
BARKER and Benjamin SELPH, and the grandson of Rebecca Jane TOTTY BARKER
and her husband Steven Alexander BARKER. Billy died on January
08, 1980 in Olney, Young County, Texas;
1923 January 10th Birth of
Raymond Alexander BARKER in Hollis, Harmon County, Oklahoma.
Notes: Raymond A. BARKER was the son of
Steven and Rebecca "Becky" TOTTY BARKER. He married Mary Leota
henry on February 01, 1944 also in Hollis. Raymond also died
November 15, 1960 in Hollis, Harmon County, Oklahoma.
1924 December 24 Marriage of Beulah
Emiline BARKER and Ewell Vinson WOODRUFF in Hollis, Oklahoma.
Notes: Beulah Emiline Barker was the daugher
of Steven Alexander and Rebecca Jane TOTTY BARKER. She was born August
23, 1903 in Uz, Montague County, Texas, and died January 18, 1982 in Hollis,
Harmon County, Oklahoma. Ewell Vinson WOODRUFF was the son of James WOODRUFF
and Ida GUTHRIE. He was born September 19, 1902, and died April 1982
in Gould, Oklahoma.
1949 February 8th Death of
Steven Alexander BARKER Hollis, Oklahoma.
Notes: Steven was born February 04, 1877
in Collin County, Texas, and died in Hollis, Harmon County, Oklahoma.
He married Rebecca Jane TOTTY on December 02, 1900 in New Harp, Montague
County, Texas. Rebecca was the daughter of John Whitfield TOTTY
and Sarah Ellen YANDELL. Steven is buried in The Coley Memorial Chapel,
Harmon County, Oklahoma.
1953 March 3rd Birth and Death
of Larry Dale BARKER in Hollis, Harmon County, Oklahoma.
Notes: Larry Dale was the son of Claude
Clinton BARKER and Lydia SMITH and grandson of Steven and Rebecca TOTTY
BARKER and was the great grandson of John Whitfield TOTTY and Sarah Ellen
YANDELL. He is buried in Hollis, Harmon County, Oklahoma
1939 March 05 Birth of Patsy Jo
BARKER, in Hollis, Harmon County, Oklahoma.
Notes: Patsy Jo was th daughter of Earnest
BARKER and Mary Woodruff. She died
on October 28, 1956, and is buried
in Hollis, Harmon County, Oklahoma. Patsy Jo was also the grand daughter
of Steven and Rebecca Jane TOTTY BARKER.
1969 July 7 Death of Rebecca Jane
TOTTY BARKER in Hollis, OK.
Note: She was born June 01, 1882,
in Mansfield, Sebastian County, Arkansas to John Whitfield and Sarah Ellen
YANDELL TOTTY. She married Steven Alexander BARKER on
December 02, 1900, in Montague
County, Texas.
