The County of Wichita was created from Youngland District or Young Territority in 1858, it was organized in 1882. It is a North region of Texas. The county is named for Indian Tribes. The county seat is located in Wichita Falls, TX. Thus far we have found the following records for the TOTTY families in this county.

1917 February 7th Birth of Elvin Wesley TOTTY son of Green Whitfield and Hattie Lee (Rogers) TOTTY, Burkburnett.

1920 June 2nd Birth of Vernon Estell TOTTY, son of Green Whitfield and Hattie Lee (Rogers) TOTTY, Iowa Park.
Notes: BTM] Vernon Estell TOTTY, lived in Shawnee, Oklahoma where he died on November 21, 1998. He is buried in the Rest Haven Cemetery, Shawnee, Pottawatomie County, OK. Vernon TOTTY was married first to Lorena Pearl HOISINGTON on August 2nd, 1939, daughter of Freddie Franklin and Birdie Lorena (COMBS) HOISINGTON of Kay County, OK. Birdie (Totty) McNutt states she was the 2nd child out of a total of 11 children born to Vernon & Lorena TOTTY. Vernon & Lorena divorced on June 26th of 1962. "My Dad remarried on December 27th 1962 in Tacoma, Washington to Hildegard Emma Luise Markmann of Germany, who he met while stationed in Germany on a 18 month tour of duty in the Army".

1924 August 25th Marriage of Maggie Ola TOTTY and Lewis Manuel KUHN, Iowa Park.

1925 August 2nd Birth of Lewis Edward "Ed" Kuhn, son of Lewis Manuel and Maggie Ola (TOTTY) KUHN, Iowa Park.
Notes: Lewis Edward Kuhn died in Jacksonville, AR. on Saturday July 15, 2000.

1927 February 9th Birth of James William KUHN, son of Lewis Manuel and Maggie Ola (TOTTY) KUHN, Iowa Park.
