Introduction

The Totty Roots Family Records and document pages is a collection of our TOTTY Roots mailing list records and research by the TOTTY Roots Research Group. The County of Rusk was created from Nacogdoches County in 1843 and organized the same year, Nacogdoches was created from the Old Mexican Municipality. It is located in Eastern region of Texas. The county is named for the Republic of Texas. Henderson is the county seat. Thus far we have only found the following 1880 Census record for a TOTTY in this county.
